Love means so many different things to so many different people. At one time love to me was that heart thumping cannot live without you feeling.
As you get older and time has passed and some relationships have come and gone - love changes too.
That doesn't mean I don't think you can't meet Mr. Right and live happily ever after like in a fairy tale because you can. But, it is the quality of the person and the hope we place in other people that may help it to work for you.
You have to love yourself first before you can truly share your love. I have had a broken heart many times all in the name of love.
Some love is going to last forever - like unconditional love for your children.
Other loves will come and go - because that is life. You have to brush yourself off and not be afraid to love again.
It is harder when you are older but it is also better in so many ways. You know what you want - and - you know what you don't want.
If you see those red flags - you pay attention.
I think when your really young - love is blind.
For those who have met the love of their life and are holding on tight - good luck to you.
For those of us who are still looking and hoping - just pray to the Universe to send you that sweet loving person.
Broken hearts take a long time to heal. Trust takes even more time to rebuild.
When you meet someone worth all of the trouble and there is true attraction then I say - go for it.
Your now wise enough to also listen to your head. So go ahead and let Cupid's Arrow strike one more time. Never stop listening to your heart - because - if you find true love it will all be worth it in the end.
